Master of Death (RWBY fanfiction): Chapter 4

A/n: Just an idea that can into my mind. I'm also going to add a few flashback from here to there, so be aware of that. Sorry if it's short.

*3rd POV*

'I wonder what happen to that him,' Ruby thought to myself, thinking of Jordan and reason he's in such a bad mood. Jordan has took a day off of all his class and the students thought the teachers won't let that happen... yet... The teachers let him be. They wonder what for though. As if they understand Jordan's uneased problem. Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang headed toward the room, but then, we heard music coming from the room. They hear singing coming from the room. Is Jordan singing? "What's he doing in the room," Ruby asks as opening the door slowly and everyone peers in the room. They cannot all can't believe what they just heard.

Jordan was humming to a song when someone feels sad. Ruby notice something that he is holding in his hand. A picture of a girl that looks like a genderbend version of Jordan when they were young. Is something connected between him and that person? Then, he sighs with a single tear in his eye. He sighs and puts the picture away and stands up and walks up to the window and sits and looks at the view. "I-if you were with me, sister..." they heard him say as he made what sound like a sad laugh, "You could of cheer me up... Like always..." He hung his head low. "You were always there for me since we're born..."

Ruby close the door and look at her team. "He has a sister," Yang said. "Who is she," Weiss said. "Jordan's sunshine," a new voice said as the girls look who said that. It was Ozpin. "You know about this, professor," Blake asked. Ozpin simply nodded.

"There's a reason why he's like this," he said as sipping on his coffee while Team RWBY listens, "You see, his past is troubling him." "Past," They all said, which sounded like a question. "His past is terrible," Ozpin said looking at the door Jordan was in and sighs, "He had a sister that was the key to helping with his anger and his sorrow."

Weiss look down a bit, realizing why he ran away, from that anger and sadness. "But..." Ozpin continued, "That all ended when something... killed his family, including his sister." The girls' eyes widen. Ruby was heart broken from that, Weiss and Blake now know how come he's shows loneliness in school, and Yang gasps from the sudden moment. "That's why you saw him in that mood, sadness, " Ozpin said, "He really wanted today to let this go, but it was a big impact on him. His sister was so precious to him and he lost her. He'll survive for her."

"Professor Ozpin," Weiss said, "How do you know all of this? Is Jordan interesting you or something." "... I'm his guardian," Ozpin said, shocking the team, "You see... I know his parents very well and I know they aren't dead. They're strong and never back down a fight, but his twin sister is unknown for me. His memories are mixed and showed he can't remember a lot of this world and only the world his Father, Jorge Rullan, lives in. I remember Jordan now I had seen his powers for the first time ever since they were missing from this world." "Why didn't you tell us that," Ruby asked. "I wish I can say more," He said, "but the rest is up you to hear his reasons. It's best to know them through his voice."

Ozpin walks away as the girls look down. "Hey, sis," Yang said, "We'll be at the library. We'll come by if you need help with him." Weiss, Blake and Yang left their leader and went to the library as Ruby looks at the door and took a deep breath. "If mom cheers me up," Ruby said before knocking on the door, "then I can do it, too..."

*Jordan's POV*

I looked over to see Ruby at the door. I wiped the tear away as she comes in the room. "Hey there," Ruby said as I looked at her. "... Hi." I said, looking away from her, "Sorry, I wasn't there all-day. I'm just... a bit moody lately." "It's ok," Ruby said, standing beside me, "I didn't wanted to invade your privacy, but who was that? The young girl in the picutre." "Oh, that," I said, holding up the picutre, "It's nothing bad or anything... just an old photo of my twin sister."

"What's her name?"

"... June..."

"Is she in your world you lived in?"

"... I'm honestly not sure."

I sighed and looks at her. "I can't even explain, but all I know is that she's missing. I thought she was gone, but I gotten letters of her... no pictures, but words," I explain to her, "We're like two peas in a pod. I never know where she is, but if I had a shooting star crossing by, I wanted to see her again, my sunshine. Heh... I'm a fool of thinking like that..." 

I notices that Ruby hugged me and I blushed a little bit. "Um..." I said, trying to understand. "I'm sorry or what's happening to you," She said, "Know that if you need someone to understands your feelings, I'm right here. Not just me, I know that there's other people to talk to. Just don't try to hold back, ok?"

I was silent for a few seconds, and then I nodded. "Thanks, Ruby," I said, smiling and standing up, "I'll take your advice. For now, we should head to the library and study for class, huh?" Ruby whines a bit and I find it cute on how she chuckles. She nods and we both go to the library. I feel a bit better now and I found people in this world I can understand this pain we have to hold on to. I hope my family can see me now.
